Diabetics have accelerated diffuse macro and microvascular disease in the heart and other organs of the body

Invasive revascularization may open or bypass occluded coronary arteries and large conductive vessel, but not microvascular (small, tiny) resistive vessels

EECP enhances development of microvasculature,  collateral vessels, and improve endothelial cell function.
